About Our Partner Grady Bergen:
Intellectual Property and Technology Expertise

Mr. Bergen is a partner with the law firm of Griggs Bergen LLP. He is a registered patent attorney through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the Missouri Bar.   He is also admitted to practice before the U.S.  Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

 

He received his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas, in 1992 and earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in Norman in 1988.  His law practice concentrates in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and matters related to intellectual property. 

   

His technical and engineering background provide a strong basis for representing those involved with a wide variety of technologies. Representative areas of technology Mr. Bergen has been involved with include, among others, chemical compositions and processes, oil and gas production technologies, material handling and processing equipment, medical devices, electronic devices and computer and software technology (including mobile applications), construction technologies, agricultural technologies, automotive technologies, cosmetics, personal care and beauty products, and sports and recreational equipment.
